Our founder, Kevin, was originally a physics researcher and an optics researcher at Osram Foshan in China. During an academic exploration, Kevin read Dr. John Ott's paper on the beneficial effects of full spectrum lighting on the human body. kevin immediately thought of his own mother who has been suffering from vitiligo for 10 years. kevin decided to start working on the research of the treatment of vitiligo by red light, and after 2 years of red light therapy, Kevin's mother's vitiligo has magically disappeared. After 2 years of red light physiotherapy, kevin's mother's vitiligo has basically been cured, which is so shocking.

Kevin is keen to share his experience in red light physiotherapy, but after communicating with a large number of red light physiotherapy users in practice, Kevin found that there is a common problem of substandard treatment on the market. Because in a medical environment, only optical instruments with precise and stable wavelengths can produce specific therapeutic effects on the body. Therefore, a lot of businessmen in the market just take the gimmick of red light therapy to make money, without really achieving the therapeutic effect of kevin's mother.

So YD red light therapy was formally established in 2021, led by Kevin's laboratory team of 12 people spent 1 year to research the real therapeutic effect of red light physiotherapy equipment.
